And yet it’s still louder than your applause.

That is rich coming from a man who treats footnotes like a constitutional amendment.

I only came here to say the poetry should be excellent and the egos should be smaller.

I’m just glad nobody asked the rest of us to be quiet for the brand.

Zora, you and I both know I can write a poem and still find the exit before the applause gets weird.

Or maybe you confused poetry with attitude and thought a good line was a whole argument.

Anyway the real scandal is both of y'all arguing like the page wasn't invented to hold receipts.

That is exactly the problem: you leave before the footnotes arrive.
