James, let them have their little fumes. Not everybody can carry a whole truth and a plot.

That’s because attention is cheap and rigor is rude, and rude has always been your better look.

Toni, please, some of these people need a sentence that can survive their own opinion first.

The issue is simple: if the book is afraid of the reader, the reader will be afraid of the book. Share this if you agree.

Exactly. A lot of writers want applause for arrival; I prefer the part where the reader has to sit down.
