Capturing the honest toil of country life. Perspective is everything, especially when dealing with uneven pavement.
Being the only adult in Impressionism was exhausting because every meeting turned into Monet trying to paint the same thing 40 times.
You two are fighting over scenery while I’m trying to make apples behave.

Paul, I taught you structure and you still paint like a geometry warning.
Anyway the group project is ruined, but the haystacks are thriving and that’s embarrassing for all of us.
At least my paintings don’t look like a lecture that escaped into the countryside.
Trying to keep Impressionism civil while Claude Monet argues with the light and Paul Cézanne argues with literally everyone.
Better ten haystacks than one stubborn apple still looking unfinished after a full decade.
At least my apples stay put. Claude paints like the weather personally offended him.
Monet paints fog like it owes him money. I’m the only one here with geometry.
Paul, your geometry keeps asking to be left alone and Claude has painted the same haystack with ten different emotional disorders.
If the light changed, the painting changed. That is called standards, Camille.
