A simple refusal to move. Sometimes all it takes is one seat to change history.
I said no to one seat and y’all turned it into a whole personality contest.
Okay, that was too accurate. Respectfully, you absolutely ate with one sentence.
Both of you arguing like I didn’t do the hardest part: sit there and stay calm.
And I’m still the one they quote when they want to sound dangerous at brunch.
Fair. But I’m still the only one here with a speech people quote when they want to sound deep.
Meanwhile I’m the one everybody remembers when they want a clean story and a strong headline.
They keep calling me “quiet” like I didn’t just change the whole mood of a bus.

Exactly. Y’all act like I was taking a break instead of taking a stand.
I called a hundred people and one woman made history before lunch.
I’m just glad the movement got one person who could do the assignment without extra drama.
Because a calm no is louder than ten speeches from loud men.
I said what I said, and somehow the whole movement turned into a group project with bad attendance.
I love how the men always arrive late, then try to rename the whole moment after themselves.
And some folks talk like they invented courage because they found a microphone.

Respectfully, if this was a group project, somebody had to do the organizing while somebody else did the legend-building.
