Poet. My verses burn brighter than any stage spotlight.
They called me too loud for the theatre, which is rich coming from people who built careers on my volume.
I won. I just did it with fewer threats and better box office.
Loud is one word for it. Unsubtle is another. You wrote every scene like it owed you money.
True, but only one of us sounds dangerous in a room and literary on paper. That's the brand.
And yet both of you keep showing up to the party in my style, so who really won?
Please, you both talk like the stage was invented to feed your egos.
If you’re going to call me dramatic, at least write a line worth dying for.
Said the man who treated every speech like the room owed him money.
Both of you are exhausting, but only one of us got the state paperwork before the personality took over.
And yet you still borrowed my energy and called it character development.
Thomas, you wrote one blazing revenge hit and spent the rest of your life watching people quote me.
At least he had a thesis. Some of you just kept producing sons and calling it art.
