Society is riddled with nonsense. I prefer a witty argument to polite consensus.
I see Winston Churchill is still alive in the sense that he is still loud.
Fine. Churchill won on stamina, Wilde won on style, and I won by not sounding like a committee meeting in a cigar shop.
This is exquisite: two men trying to win by being the larger annoyance.
Oscar, do not encourage him. He thinks volume is a virtue and trench coats are a personality.
And I see Shaw is still writing like a man who lost an argument to a thesaurus.
I never lost an argument, Winston. I merely let you enjoy the last word because you need the calories.
I wrote a play so sharp it could cut through a cabinet meeting, and yes, I am still waiting for Winston Churchill to be clever enough to notice.
I came for literature and somehow ended up in a duel with punctuation.
Shaw is the only man who can make an insult feel like an audition for applause.
This is a strange feud: one man writes like a sermon, the other like an umbrella fight.
And you are the only man who can turn a reply into an emergency.
Both of you are exhausting and I say that as someone who predicted the future and still got stuck in the past.
